The Story behind Muskurate Kadam - Happy Feet' .

In many villages across India, children still walk miles barefoot or wearing torn out footwear - through harsh terrain, scorching heat and unforgiving weather. Something as basic as a pair of shoes remains a luxury for many.

This simple yet striking reality gave rise to a heartfelt movement: Muskurate Kadam.

Meaning "Happy Feet", Muskurate Kadam began with a simple question: What if the shoes that no longer fit a child could still fit a purpose?

This initiative collects gently used footwear from children in well-to-do households, carefully refurbishes them, and donates them to children in underserved communities. Each pair is cleaned, repaired and restored with care-because we believe that dignity and comfort should walk hand-in-hand.

But this is more than just about shoes. It's about empathy, sustainability and solidarity. It's about bridging the gap between those who have and those who need-one step at a time. Every pair passed on through Muskurate Kadam carries with it a message of kindness, connection and shared humanity.

Our goal is simple: to ensure that no child has to walk barefoot towards their dreams. With every donation, we're not just protecting small feet - we're planting seeds of joy and confidence that travel far beyond the path beneath them.

Let's turn forgotten shoes into a future full of smiles, steps and hope.
